Black tiger hissing cockroaches don’t have the stripes of regular tigers and instead are all solid black. This variety is a good option for those who want black hissers but don’t feel like isolating them from their portentosa colonies. Like other hissers, this species appreciates a wide variety of fruits and vegetables such as oranges, bananas, apples, carrots, or potatoes.
