Mexican red knee tarantulas are a big, docile, colorful species. This species has a long life span–over two decades for females! It is also known for fasting for long periods of time. This is a docile species, but some individuals are skittish and will kick up hairs more readily. Maximum size is around 6″. All of our tarantulas are sold unsexed.

Size: 3/4″ (diagonal leg span) NOTE: Picture is of an adult specimen! Spiderlings won’t develop their adult coloration until around 1-1.5″ legspan

Because these are live items, we only ship out Monday through Wednesday. We ship out USPS Priority within the continental US (where legal). We also only ship out to areas where the low temperature is above 32°F or high temperature is below 95°F. WE PROVIDE FREE ICE PACKS OR 72 HOUR HEAT PACKS IF NECESSARY!
