Magnolia pods harbor microfauna that are great for isopods and springtails. Roaches like them too! These are dried southern magnolia pods that have been frozen, then heat treated to eliminate nasty hitchhikers. Your pod will provide a great hiding spot for smaller critters in your tank. Magnolia pods may also mold over, making them a good food source for springtails and other invertebrates that appreciate mold or decaying plant matter. To slow or prevent mold growth, place them in a drier area of your enclosure.
Pods vary in size but are about 3-4″ long (including stem).
