Add wood content to your isopod substrate with these compressed hardwood pellets. Soak in water to rehydrate the pellets for a coarse sawdust texture, or simply add dry pellets directly to your substrate mix where they will rehydrate and soften over time. Rehydrated pellets will expand a little bit, so plan accordingly. Freshly rehydrated pellets also smell quite nice!
1 bag contains approximately 1/2 cup of pellets.
Our current pellet mix is 50% hickory and 50% oak.
