The Costa Rican zebra is a docile species that makes a great beginner tarantula. The “blue color form” of this species isn’t the typical bright metallic blue you may see in some tarantulas. Instead, it’s a very dark blue/black that is especially noticeable after molting (the regular color form is a dull brown). Max size is around 6″. All of our tarantulas are sold unsexed.
